The owners, Nora and John Zacek have been Door County innkeepers since they relocated to Door County in 2002. 16th ANNUAL CHEFS FOR A DAY!

The United Way of Door County is hosting its Chefs for a Day event at the Sturgeon Bay Yacht Club. Tasting begins at 6:00 pm with a sampling of hors d'oeuvres. Then at 7:15 pm a buffet-style dinner begins...delicious desserts end the feast. A silent auction is also featured. Tickets are $45.00 and all proceeds go to support the United Way of Door County! FALL FESTIVAL

What started as a celebration of the end of the busy season for northern Door County residents and workers has grown to be one of Door County's largest festivals. There's tons of great food, entertainment, and an art/craft fair. Be there on Sunday for the famous Ping Pong Ball shoot...where 10,000 ping pong balls are shot into the crowd. You might be one of the lucky ones to get a ping pong ball worth a prize! More information....
I was able to take a peaceful walk through the Village of Egg Harbor this morning....the morning after Egg Harbor's Pumpkin Patch Festival. Below are some photos of a few of the many colorful decoration I found throughout the Village.
The fall is a beautiful time to visit AND LIVE in Door County. Historically, it has been the best time for our local real estate market as well! Now, more than ever, with interest rates at their all time low, it is the ideal time to take advantage of some excellent buys!
