About the Home Buyer's Tax Credit...
- How much: up to $8,000 for a first home purchase and up to $6,500 for repeat purchases of principle residences. 

- Income Limit: for purchases after November 6, 2009, the full credit is available to home owners with modified adjusted gross income up to $125,000 or $225,000 for joint filers. 

- Deadline: April 30th to have a binding purchase contract. June 30th to Close on a house.
