Get into the Christmas spirit at Sister Bay's "CAPTURE THE SPIRIT" festival! You'll see the Village lit up for the holidays and be part of Sister Bay's tree lighting. Plus there's caroling, visits from Father Christmas, refreshments, live Holiday music by the local Gibraltar High School chorus, and an art fair in the Village Hall.
If you're looking for a great place to stay while in Door County, I recommend The Open Hearth Lodge in Sister Bay. The owners, Nora and John Zacek have been Door County innkeepers since they relocated to Door County in 2002. What started as a celebration of the end of the busy season for northern Door County residents and workers has grown to be one of Door County's largest festivals. There's tons of great food, entertainment, and an art/craft fair. Be there on Sunday for the famous Ping Pong Ball shoot...where 10,000 ping pong balls are shot into the crowd. You might be one of the lucky ones to get a ping pong ball worth a prize! More information....
