Kangaroo Lake is a great lake for small day sailers and power boats. There are two boat launches (one off South Kangaroo Lake Road and the other off Kangaroo Beach Road). Vegetation goes all the way to the shore and the lake has both sand and gravel bottoms. Kangaroo Lake freezes during the winter and is great for ice fishing and ice skating.
