Connie, along with her husband, Bob, is co-owner and Vice President of Door County Realty, Inc.

The Nov. 2009 issue of the Wisconsin Real Estate Magazine quoted Connie in "Staging for Success", in 2008 Connie was featured in the book, "All In A Day's Work for Real Estate Agents", Moxie Magazine (Autumn 2008) featured Connie in their article entitled "Second Homes" and in May 2004 Chicago Magazine featured Connie in "The Perfect Weekend Home-A Guide for Buyers". Connie was the subject of a CRS Magazine article in 2002 about top producers and their marketing, and she was featured in REALTOR Magazine’s 'Top 300 Residential Salespeople,' 2001.

In the spring of 2020, Door County Realty, Inc. has joined forces with Shorewest, REALTORS. We are excited to join the Shorewest family and continue to serve the real estate needs throughout the Door County peninsula and beyond.

Professional Designations

ABR - Accredited Buyer Representative

In acheiving the ABR designation, the REALTOR attends a 2-day educational course plus an additional elective ABR course.  All three courses are designed to enhance the REALTOR'S skill and understanding of representing buyers in a transaction as a buyer's agent.  An agent who has earned this designation may elect to work as a listing agent or a buyer's agent.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Documentation of completed single-agency transactions, either before or after graduation.
  • Membership in the National Association of REALTORS
  • Membership in the The Real Estate Buyer's Agent Council

CRS - Certified Residential Specialist

The Council of Residential Specialists says agents who hold a CRS designation earn four times more than average agents. Agents must pass four- to six-unit courses, depending on the number of agent's closed transaction within a specified time period. Emphasis is on education to better represent residential clients.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Membership in the National Association of REALTORS
  • Membership in a local board of REALTORS
  • Membership in the Council of Residential Specialists
  • Payment of an application fee

CDPE - Certified Distressed Property Expert

Through comprehensive classroom training and experience, CDPEs have an understanding of the complex issues confronting distressed properties. They are able to survive and thrive in current market conditions while providing solutions for homeowners facing hardships. CDPEs don’t merely assist in buying and selling properties, they serve and help save their clients in need.

Additional Qualification:

  • Membership in the CDPE

GRI - Graduate REALTOR Institute

Approved by the National Association of REALTORS and offered through state REALTOR associations, agents with a GRI designation have completed a minimum of 90 to 95 hours of coursework pertaining to the state that licenses them, and pass the exams. Education covers law, practice, finance, taxes, exchanges and more.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Membership as a REALTOR in the National Association of REALTORS
  • Membership as a REALTOR in the State Association of REALTORS
  • Membership as a REALTOR in a local board of REALTORS

RRS - Recreation and Resort Specialist

The RRS certification prepares real estate professionals to conduct business in the recreation and resort industry with skills in human relationships, marketing, contract negotiation, property merchandising, business management and personal promotion from the core curriculum. The certification involves 16 hours of classroom work and documentation of productivity.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Candidates must demonstrate a successful history of sales or property management.
  • Annual dues must be paid

SRES - Senior Real Estate Specialist

Sponsored by the National Association of REALTORS, the SRES designation is for agents who work with buyers and sellers over the age of 55. Agents can be any age. Coursework includes two-day live class, online or a combination of the two. An exam must be passed.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Membership in the National Association of REALTORS
  • Pay annual dues for membership in SRES Council
